BlaK is a band that has solidified a definitive sound. dark , progressive, & aggressive. Their music can be best described as a combination of Deathrock, Post Punk & Gothic Rock,. Blak has a metal Heart with a punk attitude.Blak are here to stay. They are ready and willing to show that they are a force to be reckoned with.Blak was formed in 2009 , in Los Angeles, CA after the demise of Ian Blak's former band, Elegant Bastards".After releasing an album with remastered Elegant Bastards tracks under his own name, an album called "The Blak Devil Anthology", Ian reformed Blak #9 and changed the name to "BLAK". They played 3 shows before Ian moved back to LA.

2011-2015 Blak recorded the E.P. , "Graveyard Love Songs" & released 4 music videos: "Frankenstein Valentine", "My Darling" (Why Aren't You Dead?), "Zombie Mamma" & "Staring at the Sky". Blak participated in radio interviews & enjoyed radio play on the Livation show on KXLU 88.9FM LA, Deathrock PA. (Deathrockpa.com, deathrockradio.com) The Grave Shift radio show. Troy's room on latalkradio.com, & wkfu.org, etc. In 2015 Ian Blak moved back to Indianapolis. Where the story continues with a new line up. BlaK are currently working on their full length studio album "retribution" set to be released in Spring 2019.
