Rising from the ashes of her former band Reagan Cain, Twenty Six Tears is the vision of singer Reagan "Batsy: Kirkbride. Expanding on her punk roots, Reagan has developed the characteristic sound of Twenty Six Tears with the help of guitarist Floch (Brain Damage and Death, Goyasnada, K-Oz Office) and bass player Daniel Caron (Megaherz), to produce an eclectic mixture of Punk, Post-Punk, Batcave, Rock, Cold Wave, Dark Wave, and Punkabilly influences which generates a unique sound enriched by Reagan’s strong, distinctive voice.

The band have carved a niche for themselves on the Goth/New wave/Deathrock scene in Belgium and have opened for such bands as Faith and the Muse, Scarlet’s Remains, Katzenjammer Kabarett and Chants of Maldoror. They recently played a successful debut UK concert at the Shadowdaze Festival in Manchester.
